How to stop Vibration? ( Fenix 6x V5.00 )

after upgrading to V 5.00 the watch vibrates for all kind of notifications although System>Sounds>Vibration is off.

VERY ANNOYING ! anybody else with the same problem ?

It confused me too until I found that there's also a sounds setting in the settings - phone - Smart notifications - during activity & not during activity where you can select tone, vibration, tone…

to my knowledge Vibration setting is under System>Sounds>Vibration... which is set to OFF.... I have change it back to On and then back to Off several times.... in both the watch and the Connect mobile…

I did it quite a few times... no result ! vibration is always ON no matter what...

Try changing the device settings in the Garmin Connect Mobile app.

Had tue same with one of the last beta firmware. It looks like that for some reason the setting from the app was not transferred to the watch completely. Check it in the watch directly and make the desired settings there.

Press the setting button, the middle one on the left side

Than scroll down to “Ansagen“ sorry don't know the English term, the “headset“ icon and make the settings you want there

There is no way to turn off vibration through settings - phone - Smart notifications ( you can only choose if you will get Tone only, Vibration only or both )

So Tone only is vibration off for notifications

maybe... but I DONT want tone either ! i need silent notifications as before !

Maybe Do Not Disturb perhaps. But that isn't what you originally asked for

Thanks, do not disturb is better.... you get notifications silently... but again there is no light... :-( i prefer the old way...which was the right way !... when vibration is set to off... should stay OFF !
