How to stop Vibration? ( Fenix 6x V5.00 )

after upgrading to V 5.00 the watch vibrates for all kind of notifications although System>Sounds>Vibration is off.

VERY ANNOYING ! anybody else with the same problem ?

    There's also an Alert Tones setting in System Sounds, which you may want to use instead of Do Not  Disturb. That may get round your lights problem  

    I'm new to the fenix 6 so don't know how things worked prior to f/w 5.00

    I have the same issue with my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire and Titanium Edition watch. I get a lot of emails and I do not like the vibration on my wrist. I had the Tone and Vibrations turned off and it was working fine. Watch got auto updated to V5 one night and now I am not able to disable the vibration for any kind of alerts. I have tried every method of turning off the vibration, both from phone and from watch but no positive results. Called the Garmin support and Seller and they recommended to turn on the Do Not Disturb mode, which to me seems like a pathetic service. Seriously, after spending around 900 dollars on one of the most expensive training watch, you wouldn't expect these kind of trivial issues. Is anyone else is also facing this issue after upgrading to V5? May be if enough people make some noise then Garmin would release a patch early.

    Edit:

    I have also did a soft reset and factory reset but still not able to disable the vibration on alerts. Vibration is off in settings but I get vibration on all alerts.

    Can you please try if you are able to turn off both tone and vibration on your fenix 6, if it is updated to V5, and then see if you get vibration on alerts. I am asking, because it might be the case that my watch is faulty and I still have few days to return it. But if it is only software issue and everybody is facing it then there would be no use of returning it.

    Interesting.  I always use vibration only for notifications, but thought I'd give turning vibration off in the system settings a whirl on my 6X Pro Solar (sw 5.72 beta) and 5+ (sw 9.76 beta).  I then sent myself a test email and sure enough the 6X Pro Solar vibrated with the incoming email notification, but the 5+ did not vibrate (just notification appears and backlight on).  I'll wrap this up and report it to the Garmin Outdoor beta email address (always in the first post of the beta threads if anyone else wishes to do the same).

    My 6x pro was working fine ( and 5x in the past ) before V5.00 update !!! it is sure a software bug...

    Hi, thanks for checking, I was thinking of returning the watch and get an exchange but now I am not sure. Can you please let me know where to post in Garmin Outdoor beta forum. May be, if there is an email address or url?

    i dont have my 5x anymore ... but Crispin_Ellisdon verified that above... it is a software bug of the latest version 5.00

    I've also just tested my Fenix 5 (also latest sw 14.77 beta) and that behaves the same as the 5+.  So it's the 6X Pro Solar that's the odd one out.
