Thanks nice idea, you place the insulation under the mount on the handlebar? Or you just use the foam insulation without the garmin mount? I would like to protect it as much as possible from the road vibrations and puddles.

The insulation is shock absorbing.
I have nothing to contribute to the thread, but I'm curious as to why you prefer to mount the watch on your bike as opposed to wearing it on your wrist.
