Experience with 6X Pro Sapphire

I have my watch for some time. Impressions:

Software 3.10

1) Amazing Black Screen

2) WiFi no issues

3) Music no issues, using it with Sennheiser XC-Sports. They have an independent volume rocker but everything is controlled by the watch with no issues. I uploaded mp3s from Ubuntu simply copying paste the tracks in Music folder.

4) Battery life amazing

5) GPS accuracy, good for my standards

6) Heart Rate a little high but acceptable for my standards

7) PulseOx, functioning fluently

8) Sleep monitoring accurate enough

8) Weather syncing works fluently and syncing with Garmin Connect as well.

I am not experiencing any issues for now and very happy with it.

Regards

  • Yes. I'm at the office now and not one of my co-workers have ever heard of such a thing either. This is not normal practice, so I think the word strange is fitting.

First, why are you so interested in somebodies relations and why are you so negative about what other people are saying? Trust, that's all you need. If you can trust, some other people will trust you as well, maybe there is a problem and you act so surprised that George have good relations with seller?
Second, belive me, it is normal practice to test the product. Of course, some sellers my not want to open the product (box) to check it, so customer got choice to buy it or not. Would you buy something without testing it first when there were so many reports about problems with displays, and not as many about faulty buttons, button that came off the case straight out of the box, black spots on display, hair under display, just to name a few. Stop making weird suggestions and stick to the subject, instead of asking questions that have no input into this discussion at all.

I wont reply to you, as this is not a place for your personal thoughts and doubts

Who's arguing that?  Answer me a question.  Which friend of yours went to the retailer and inspected your watch before you received it?  It sound quite suspicious.

  • Is the subject of the thread relevant to my relationship with anyone?

You make a comment in a thread and then say it's irrelevant to the topic because I asked you about you're comment?  How does that work?  Do as I say, not as I do?

  • You asked me why I was able to check them, It was a mistake answering to you in the first place. I apologize for that to everyone

You and J constantly look out for new posts in the display threads nad stalk the people posting there. You intentionally diverge from the main topic. You are right George, its just best to ignore their posts. Their true intention is not to discuss about The topic.

  • You intentionally diverge from the main topic.

I call 'em like I see 'em.  "My Garmin retailer and I get along so well, he allows me to check serial numbers, open boxes to turn on the watches and then make the call as to return them or ship them off to 'friends' in other cities."  OK, sure.  Like the old duck saying, "If it looks like BS and smells like BS, it must be BS."  Sorry George, unlike some of your friends, I'm not buying into this.

I ran and completed both the NYC and Boston Marathons in under 45 minutes.  The problem was my watch recorded 28 miles instead of 26.2.  Don't you dare question my world record times and the validity of my post, because the 'topic' is incorrect distance recorded.

Their true intention is not to discuss about The topic.

"Their"?  Where did J comment on this thread?  The intent is clarify and verify statements made when discussing the topic in the post.  As in my marathon times example, the fact that it's clearly fabricated, should dismiss my post.  Or do you still want to talk about the 'topic' and help me out with the recorded distance problem?

  • Guys, please play nicely, or we will have to moderate your posts, thanks.

  • Just got mine a few hours ago. Everything seems to be good. There is some blue tint, but really it's right at the edge of even caring about. Contrast and viewing angles are great and way better than my 5. All in all, solid upgrade.

Just in case anyone cares, serial number 634078XXX.

Hi George! Hope you're well? Please tell me, what was the SN of your affected watch? Also do you think if the 6X Pro gorilla glass has serial number like the new ones it will be affected by the blue backlit issue? Thank you!
