Experience with 6X Pro Sapphire

I have my watch for some time. Impressions:

Software 3.10

1) Amazing Black Screen

2) WiFi no issues

3) Music no issues, using it with Sennheiser XC-Sports. They have an independent volume rocker but everything is controlled by the watch with no issues. I uploaded mp3s from Ubuntu simply copying paste the tracks in Music folder.

4) Battery life amazing

5) GPS accuracy, good for my standards

6) Heart Rate a little high but acceptable for my standards

7) PulseOx, functioning fluently

8) Sleep monitoring accurate enough

8) Weather syncing works fluently and syncing with Garmin Connect as well.

I am not experiencing any issues for now and very happy with it.

I have opened 4 watches with SN: 63407(2) and another two starting 63408.

All of them were without blue tint backlight.

If you get the watch and you have SW 3.10 or something close to that do not update…

Mine arrives tomorrow, and I didn’t know there was a blue tint issue until reading about it here. I read that there haven’t been any reports of non-blue 6X Sapphires, so it’s encouraging to see yours not…

I don’t know whether to care of not. Honestly, I don’t like the blue tint of my 5, and it’s one of the reasons I turned off the gesture activation, and set the backlight to 5%. I saw a review of the 6 with a perfect blacks and thought “Ohh wow, that will be nice.” Ultimately, if I find that it’s a blue tinted watch, I’ll just deal with it. Seems like such a first world complaint.

Glad you’re happy with it. Looking forward to mine. I going to grab a peak on Saturday and see how the GPS track compares to my 5.

If you get the watch and you have SW 3.10 or something close to that do not update it. Wait for all issues to be resolved and then update.

Have you see this one without blue screen ? Black DLC with Chestnut band https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/641435/pn/010-02157-14 I saw one on eBay but it was quite blue

To be honest, no I haven't. All the watches I opened plus the one I have were all 6X Pro Sapphire carbon grey dlc

The latest I have seen in the retailer I bought mine. The latest batch 63408XXXX was delivered on Monday. I cannot be sure if worldwide this batch is the latest.

I developed a good relation with the retailer I purchased the watch from. The other watches I opened were orders made for friends of mine that live in other cities...So he let me check the watch before shipping to them

My experience is pretty much the same.

If my watch has a blue tint, I can't tell. It certainly isn't something that bothers me.

I have the latest f/w (4.3), and it's been fine for me.

Love the battery life - hardly ever have to charge it.

No issues for me, and I am loving my Fenix 6x pro sapphire.

I would say it's more of strange relationship rather than a good relationship. I've never heard of a retailer allowing a third party to open and inspect a product before shipping it regardless of your connection to the purchaser.
