Connection Issues

Is anyone having issues keeping your watch connected to your phone? I have to restart my watch and or phone to keep them paired. I have the Fenix 6 Pro and Note10+. The phone shows the watch is connected to bluetooth but Garmin Connect won't pick up the watch as connected.

  • Yeah, but that’s been broken a while for me. So I just stopped caring about it even though I wish it worked.

  • Aaaand it’s broken again for me even with today’s garmin update.

FWIW I just updated to iOS 13.2 and it has the same issue.

  • This is the first time I’ve wanted an android phone. Lol

I’m having the same issue with a Fenix 6 Sapphire and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Connect shows the watch as connect, but the sync fails. It’s driving me crazy!

  • My wife hast the same problems but not with IOS but the latest Version of Android on a Galaxy S8.

Annoyng to wear a 800€ Watch and the software makes such problems...

the problem remains for me too even after the yesterday's GC update. There is also problem with the connectivity with external heart rate and with headphones.. After a while the connection is lost. The problem is with watch's software and it is REALLY annoying.

Same issue. Just updated the new iOS. Weather still not fixed! This is so frustrating!

  • With all the issues on IOS I moved the F6 Pro over to an Android phone I have Sunday morning.  Fine all day Sunday and part of Monday.  Sometime during the day F6 lost connection to the Android phone.  But turning Bluetooth on and off  or turning phone/watch off several times did not work.  Ultimately removed watch from bluetooth, GC and repared.  So not isolated to IOS.  Android phone is a Pixel 4 XL fully updated along with GC.

I try fw 4.30 beta however problems persists I start to believe its an hardware problem

  • I have iPhone 7/iOS13.1.3 (will update to 13.2 today) and I constantly get notifications that connection is lost/back. Also, when syncing I usually need to open GCM then turn BT in 6X off and on in to get sync started even though my phone shows them connected all the time.

I think 6X is really buggy so I rather use FR935 when training as I really don’t trust it yet. But it’s ok as the TruePhysio syncs all the data between devices. But that 935 looks outdated after 6X Joy
