I just got the 6 Pro Solar and have noticed that it is struggling reading my pulse OX, when my Fenix 5X Pro had no issue ready my *** OX. I have tried different placements, all software is up to date. Etc. Any suggestions?

I don’t have any problems with pulseOx. Are you sure you don't have the bracelet too tight and not too loose?
Nobody has said anything about wearing it in the middle of your forearm so please less of the drama. However you should ensure it is worn clear of the wrist bone (despite the picture from Allalin72 showing…
Is anyone else seeing this issue? Last night I even did a reset of the unit and yes I have sensor hub 2.4.
No issues with mine. Does it read when you are a sleep?
It does read when asleep but the numbers are lower than my old Fenix 5x Pro. I am averaging with the new unit 93% while sleeping Fenix 5X Pro was 98%
I gave up on mine on the first day. Aside from the battery impact, it was so far off it wasn't even funny. Where both my medical finger device and S10 show me at 97-98, the 6x at best put me at 95, more commonly at 93. Given that I was testing both at the exact same time, I figured then the watch wasn't worth bothering with..
Thats why i am perplexed, my Fenix 5X Pro was spot on with my medical devices and my Note 8. Even when I was at my Dr office they matched what they said. but not my Fenix 6 Pro Solar.
Another somewhat dissatisfied 6X user here. It works eventually, but usually gives me 30-90 seconds of "keep still ... measuring" back and forth and generally shows around 5% lower than what I expect. The 1 time I compared versus at the doctor's office, it was 92% versus 96% on the finger check (opposite hand though).
I don't know how fast it is supposed to take a reading, but I'm guessing/hoping that 90 seconds is longer than it should be.
Same here... PulseOx is so inaccurate that is a joke. I'm averaging out around 93% and is constantly 5-12% lower vs. my finger measurement device. At night it goes down to 78% :) haha, right. I'm a pilot and wanted to use this as a backup device, guess I should forget about that.
Also I sometimes have no automatic readings for 10+ hours and manual triggering ends in a timeout (displaying the old value x hours ago again).
It's a $700 watch, common guys...

Per Garmin's user manual: you have to hold the watch at heart level, and wear it several finger widths away from your wrist. Do that and it works fine.
I'd cite my sources but I'm tired of repeating this every second thread. RTFM.
That's great and all but no one wears a watch in the middle of their forearm. If that's a requirement then it's a design flaw and unrealistic. Also as mentioned other people have NOT had this issue with the 5x Plus. Given how poor the pulse ox functions and the OHR issues people are having I'm wondering if this is a software defect or a hardware design issue with the new sensors.
