I got it at BestBuy today and it came with a thin (not-ribbed) band with only 1 strap loop.
Is this the right band?... as it does not seem to be the same band as I see on the website.

I like the new ribbed bands so much I ordered a Sandstone variant
I prefer the extra security of the keepers on the ribbed bands.
What band would you buy for activities? I like the Titanium bezel and bracelet (which unfortunately dont exist in 6X Sapphire) but am struggling to see which bands would go nicely with the metal color and are at the same time rock/snow/sand/water proof
Anyone know what the difference is between the ribbed and non ribbed silicone bands?
Yes. One has ribs
Ribbed band sucks compared to Fenix 5x+ version one (on your photo).
Would be great that if Garmin really switched to their older, better design - they offer replacement.
Personally, I think the F5 band has been the best band out of the 5, 5+ & 6.
That's the one I'm using. I skipped the 5+ so I don't know about that one but I like the 5X band way better then the ribbed 6X band. Since the 6X is the same band size as the 5X I'm using the silicone band from that for workouts and the metal band from it for everyday wear.

looks goooood!!!
I just ordered one of these myself! Do you have any other pictures that better show the color/shade of the band? I find it is tough to see exactly what the color is from Garmin's online pictures.
It also seems really unusual that they are shipping with different bands now, especially ones with only one keeper (which would be a deal breaker for using that band for me). The only Garmin store still has a bunch of variants of the ribbed ones for sale.
That color looks almost the same as the color of the body of 6x Pro Titanium version. I'm going to order.
