Limited Number of Sensors and Accessories

I've a problem is running out of room for adding sensors to my new fenix 6X.

As I tried to add sensors to my new Fenix 6X for a bike ride including HR, Power, Cad/Spd and Lights, it said there was nor more space to add sensors before I was complete.

This is a real problem as I've not yet added my Tacx Neo trainer that will need even more sensor space.

Never had this problem on Fenix 5X as I had bike, run accessories, golf and cycling trainer all running.

I assume new features like Oxy take a space but I've got far to little space to add all the things I need for this to be a full featured watch for running, biking, swimming, and golf.

It's weird, i added all these, Assioma Power meter (one time as ANT+, second as BT) , HRM Run strap, Cadence, Speed, 2x lights (Garmin radar + Bontrager Ion) and Tempe and it hasn't show me any such error message...

You're on fw 3.0?

That’s an interesting one and not something I’ve come across either. Give Garmin Support a call and see what they have to say.

would you care to tell how the watch made this known to you ?

there is room for twenty sensors

upload your settings file here and check for yourself

you can remove one of the double paired sensors, ANT & BLE

So, 20 connections is the problem which is absurd. That's not enough to do what I need even in the most fundamental sense of only pairing one bike with speed/cadence/power/lights/HR, a set of golf clubs with Garmin CT10 sensors and my Tacx Neo trainer. That alone takes 22 plus I've not paired other bikes with similar accessories.

Whatever happened to the days I'd just jump on my bike and ride? It was a big deal when I bought my first digital watch with a built-in stopwatch - at least I knew how long I rode. Then I broke down and bought one of the cyclo "computers" that hooked up with a mechanical cable to my front wheel and then I knew how far I rode. How did I survive over 20 years with just those basic tools? Now 20 sensors is not enough
