Limited Number of Sensors and Accessories

I've a problem is running out of room for adding sensors to my new fenix 6X.

As I tried to add sensors to my new Fenix 6X for a bike ride including HR, Power, Cad/Spd and Lights, it said there was nor more space to add sensors before I was complete.

This is a real problem as I've not yet added my Tacx Neo trainer that will need even more sensor space.

Never had this problem on Fenix 5X as I had bike, run accessories, golf and cycling trainer all running.

I assume new features like Oxy take a space but I've got far to little space to add all the things I need for this to be a full featured watch for running, biking, swimming, and golf.

    Well said Gaijin.  My first bicycle speedometer was older than that as a cable driven mechanical like below which I never saw above 30 mph.

    However, I rode the new Yorkshire course on Zwift tonight with 3,000 other riders virtually that would not have been possible in the old days.

    I'm now maxed out at 20 Fenix 6X Pro connections with 15 for golf clubs, 3 for Tacx trainer and 2-HR straps.

    On various outdoor bikes have 19 sensors attached for speed, cadence, power, lights, etc. to Edge 1030 or iPhone.

    Think about the "poor" golfers. They need about 14 sensors alone for their golf clubs...Innocent

    That does seem like a weird and unnecessary limitation.  I have a power sensor, cadence, speed and light sensor on my bike.  Also a CycleOps H2 which yields power, speed and cadence.  Not sure how many sensors the connection to the CycleOps is treated as.  I also sync it to my C2 rower through ErgIQ...but that seems like a temporary connection.

    Can somebody please clarify how the limit of 20 has to be interpreted? 

    a) 20 is the limit of the sensors & accessories being actively added by the user

    OR

    b) 20 is the limit of all the sensors & accessories which is in the sensor list (that is including wrist heart rate, compass, barometer, altimeter, 1 space for xero locations list, 1 space for club sensors list)?

    In other words do the built-in sensors and built in sensor groups (xero and club) eat 6 slots from the 20 available, or there are 20 slot for the users to add sensors?

    I have 20 elements in my sensor list, an I am about to buy some new sensors, but before doing that I would like to clarify whether I will be able to add them.

    Ooops. I had missed this post before launching mine. So I can still add 6. Great news. :-)
