Battery issues 6x Pro

Last full recharge 6hour ago.

HR diabled

SpO2 disabled

Phone connection disabled

From 41days/100% to 35days/85% in 6 hours with above settings.. Did a full factory reset already, setup watch again.. Same result..

Out of the box watch was completely dead 0% charge. After full 100% recharge and setup, battery down to 30% with out of the box factory settings in 24h........

I've had several garmin watches before, and always software improved the usability some time after the initial release, but this just feels like a DOA.. Looks like i'll be needing to send this one in for replacement.

How long have you had the device for? I suspect that maybe these watches have a learning algorithm, where the battery life estimate starts off somewhat inaccurate, but as the software learns about the battery and your usage, the estimate improves. I don't know if that's true or not, it's just my assumption.

My battery level estimates haven't seemed totally accurate yet either, but since I've only charged it once so far, and been using it only 2 days, I'm going to give it another couple weeks before I jump to any conclusions about the battery life and/or the software's level estimates.

Your instance seems a lot worse than mine, though. My battery was 80% charge out of the box, and after charging fully, it has only dropped to 80% after 2 days (which includes 2 hours of activity tracking yesterday). So it seems like something weird might be up with your battery, I'm sure Garmin will get it straightened out either way.

Just got my 6X pro in today. Fully charged at setup showing 21 Days. Now 6 hours later it's at 8 days.

Was it transferring the firmware update via Bluetooth? That will eat battery. A little bit of music will also kill it quickly. Mine said 14 days yesterday. Today 13 and I ran for 45 minutes this morning. I had the watch plugged into my computer long enough to pull the .fit file, but that's it.

My 6X Pro says 9d after charge and after a 5 hour bike ride with GPS + Glonass and wearing all day says 8d. Very happy with that!

3 indoor bike workouts (no gps) - BT to phone - about 30 minutes of music

coming from a 5x - battery life on that was about 2 or 3 weeks

Have you loaded the music via WiFi? Thats takes a lot of battery, if the device is not plugged to the wall charger..
