Bezel scratching?

Any thoughts whether these bad boys will suffer from scratches to the bezel like all previous Fenix models?

Why is it that people buy these watches for working out, adventurous activities and beyond and people are afraid of getting a scratch or 2 on the bezel?

I am more worried about the bezel. Not the sapphire screen which I have confidence is very tough.

When you pay a premium you want the watch to look good.

Buy a titanium or a silver model and don't worry, even if they're scratched you won't notice them badly. But other DLC coated models will get their scratches eventually and look at you. :D

Anyone know if the 6 Pro Black with black band (non-sapphire) has the DLC coating? The listing on the website isn't clear

Anyone know whether the silver bezel on the 6 and 6S are the same color? Based on the stock pics, the one on the 6 looks a bit darker and more premium than the one on the 6S (which especially from angle/side looks more like the lighter/cheaper-looking VA 3 silver). I can't find a store near me that has units in stock to compare.

Thanks for the reply. That's a shame, I was tempted to go without the sapphire glass if the bezel was DLC, as I prefer a black bezel and wouldn't fork out an extra 200 for the sapphire DLC black.

Iv'e checked the Garmin site again and only the 6 & 6X sapphire & solar versions have the DLC, the only 6S version to have the DLC is the black band one, the Gold versions don't have DLC

I’m in the military and this is my Tactix Charlie that has DLC and I’ve had since launch in May last year. Glass is immaculate as that is sapphire crystal.

I’ve been working in the Middle East since I got it so it’s had a fairly hard life. I think it’s held up pretty well and only the very edges of it have marked. Which is to be expected.

I have a 6 with the DLC coating that just got scratched by a light scrape with concrete. The steel shows through the coating but isn't too bad. I may try to color it in with a black sharpie so it is less noticeable.
