Basecamp can't find my epic gen2

Both on mac and win i can't connect basecamp to my watch. Garmin express works well. Anyone else who experienced this issue?

I reinstalled the software and drivers to no avail.

Some have indicated this is working for them with the BETA software 17.12, but not all. So out engineers are still investigating this for a solution. And hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible…

Our engineers are aware of an issue effecting BaseCamp recognizing Outdoor wearable watches, including Epix gen 2, Fenix 7, Marq 2 etc. They are working toward a software solution to resolve this. Not long, it seems to be a firmware issue, so that can be solved pretty quickly.

which appears to be fixed in the current watch beta The public release would still be a couple of months away.

And hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible. While not the perfect solution, if you have a need of this tool, they are encouraging using Garmin Explore in the mean time. As this will support many of the same mapping tools. I will update once they have announced an official fix.

Thank you for the update. Garmin Explore works very well, however every now and then I want to upload a custom map and then I need Basecamp.
