Turn off voice prompts from phone when navigating

Is there any news on this? When will there be a fix fore this "feature"?
Please split the options for audible prompts in seperate options for Beeps and Spoken directions.

I want to keep the beep sounds/allerts bud I don't want anoying voices talking to me in public.
I don't want to be forced to lower volume settings or turn off Bluetooth to shut up my phone.

This threath was started 8 months ago. This should be solved by now!

Every update I silently hope that Garmin has finally addressed this issue. No, of course not. Instead we have new useless features. I started browsing career pages for Garmin only so that I could fix this. It's that annoying. 

Yep. It is the same story as that of audio prompts for PacePro.

There are some Forerunners where both bugs have been eliminated, but in spite of it Garmin says it is not sure whether they can solve it for Enduro 2 / Fenix 7 / etc.

Cant believe this is still an issue. Garmin I am a software developer, hire me so I can fix this thing myself! These audio cues make listening to music/podcasts completely unenjoyable. I should be able to have the beeps/vibrations on the watch guide my turns without the voice assistant in my ear.

I honestly went over their openings to check if I can get hired and fix this "feature" (yep, it's a feature!). Maybe that's Garmin's hiring strategy?:)

Yeah I’m about to start private messaging Garmin devs on LinkedIn. Probably might have more luck with that than this echo chamber of a forum.
