Pure guesswork, but Enduro 2 Pro has a nice ring to it. It could have the improved contrast screen and heart rate sensor and maybe tweaked flashlight that the other Pro devices have.

As a Garmin user I was thinking about new dive computer, Descent Mk2 was "old" and there were no informations about release of Mk3, so I bought Suunto EON few days before Mk3 was released. What a *** strategy…

It was mission imposssible, because I have order it directly from Finland (and it was delivered next day to CZ) and I used it the same day....

I guess the reasoning behind was that in some countries it is quite OK to test a device for a period of 4”30-60 days and if you dont scratch it it is not a problem to return it and be refunded.

In EU I have almost never seem it for an electronic device apart from some Black Friday offers.

What other company formally announces the release of new products in advance? And please don't say Apple. They like everyone else do not announce new products in advance despite the rumours that abound at the time.

It would be logical for Garmin to do the following:

The Fenix 8 series (8S, 8, 8X) should arrive first.

After them, the Fenix 8 Pro family appears

And after that, Enduro 3 appears.

Honestly, I think the "Pro" version will kill Enduro 3. The "Pro" has everything Garmin can fit into a watch. What will be left for Enduro 3?

Enduro already has better battery from all the Garmin watches right now.
