Background Color

Hello,

I am trying to make the background color Dark on the Apps from the App Wheel, (Altimeter, Barometer, etc.). They are white now. How do I change these to Dark?

Good point. I noticed yesterday I used the Alt most of the day. My battery went down one bar after fully charged in the morning. Do you wear the Instinct daily? What would you recommend in the Garmin lineup for stand alone Apps., like Altimeter that last the longest battery wise. Just curious. Maybe I should have bought the Tactix lineup?

Yes, I wear the Instinct 24/24, but I keep the default face on most of the time, so it does not need any recharging for days. I just configured it so, that all data I am interested in, is visible on the main face.

Tactix specs claim up to 5 weeks battery life, while Instinct only up to 2 weeks, but the question is how Tactix consumption would change in similar configuration, or whether it is possible at all on Tactix (I know practically nothing about Tactix). However, for me Instinct, Fenix 5 or 6, and the Descent MK1 are the only acceptable models, since I need water resistance minimally 100m. Tactix, just like practically all other models, is rated to 50m only (good just for a shower, or some surface swimming). I opted for Instinct, while waiting for the pending Descent MK2.

Garmin refers to this as the widget carousel. Not that it's important, just a FYI. :)

Good to know. I will refer to the "Widget Carousel" from now on. Yet, they are not called Widgets here. The Widgets have a different home...the MENU button. Interesting and confusing.
