R10 distances seem off.

I have been using the R10 for a couple days now and my distances seems way off. Seems very club is approx 20yards short from the range? Is there anything that needs to be done with calibration?

It isn't fixed. I logged a call with garmin support. Apparently they have over 40 people with the same issue and they are working on a fix. I would recommend everyone with the issue to report it to Garmin. This should increase the chance they will diagnose and fix the issue. I had to send them the log from my device as well as send a photo of my space.

I actually find that tilting the unit downward helps more. I think it makes it perceive the ball as going higher. Still crazy short compared to my normal carry distances though

I really think it's a hardware issue. Garmin sent me a new unit. with 3.60 installed on both units, my old unit was horribly innacurate. My new unit seems MUCH better. I'm still seeing some minor issues with distance into a net, but nothing like before I received the new unit. Now it's completely usable compared to before.

with everyone now having issues with distances while hitting into the net, I wonder if the unit should have two settings: net & range

I think there's a launch monitor out there that does have that setting adjustment.

Anyone hit in to an impact screen inside having issues? I also agree that there should be a system setting for inside. It can make the adjustments for distances. I have zero issue with the directions. Its the distances

I tried something similar. I hung a thick movers blanket to hit into and there was no difference in distance from the net.

Got mine yesterday, upgraded to 3.6 everything’s way short. Further I go up the bag the worse it gets. Not properly looked at numbers but think it’s to do with launch angle. Pw not far off, still short.

Yeah it’s the same for me. PW is about 15-20 yards short by the time I get to my 8 iron I’m 30 yards short 6 iron is 40 short. It’s basically useless in its current state.
