CIQ natively paired sensors report Unable to Connect in devices and accessories

If you call Sensor.getRegisteredSensors() with a parameter of null or SENSOR_GENERIC I'd expect it to return an iterator that includes CIQ native paired sensors, or at least those paired by the running app. But, it does not. There is no way to determine...
