Unknown error during Media synchronization on Fenix 7 Solar devices

My users constantly get "Unknown error" right after they start synchronizing media. According to the reports, it only occurs on Fenix 7 Solar watches.
The problem can not be reproduced in the simulator. Everything works fine there.

Also, since this error happens on the OS level, I can't see any reports in the ERA viewer.

How can I investigate this issue without real Solar watches?

I have noticed the same thing (on my Fenix 7 Pro Solar) on some media. I've been able to figure out some of the causes of media sync errors on the device:

1. It must be a https url (http urls will always fail with error 0). Also, some servers with "Let's Encrypt" certificates will not work, and give error 0
2. Temporary redirect HTTP 302 sometimes fails (but this gives response code 302): https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/bug-makewebrequest-fails-on-some-302---temporary-redirect-on-device
3. I've also had some odd failings on downloading patreon media content, see https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/makewebrequest-fails-on-patreon-audio-content-download . Might have something to do with how patreon authorizes the request?

Thank you for your comments! They were really helpful. It seems the issue was indeed related to the Let's Encrypt certificates. This was so unclear — Garmin definitely needs to address this problem. I would never have guessed the cause without your help.
