"Unable to get content" from Spotify to update or download music to the device

My garmin forerunner 255 music can't seem to sync with Spotify to update music/podcasts/playlists. It just comes up with the error message "unable to get content". It's worked fine for the past month since I had the watch.  Anything I can do? I have tried re starting etc. No luck.
