SDK 8.1.0 - "Kill app for launch the app"

Since upgrading to SDK 8.1.0, I regularly get the following error when I open the CIQ simulator with a glance-enabled device, and click on the glance to open the widget.

Usually, after I restart the simulator once or twice it then works.

Kill app for launch the app
Failed to terminate app: Timeout
Failed to run the app: Timeout

  • I have the exact same issue...
    I am using a laptop with Linux Mint and VSCode to develop my apps, and one of them also has a glance and  an application.

    Sometimes when this happens, the laptop is also connected to power, so it can't be the battery saver that was previously mentioned...

    I have tried both SDK 8.4.0 and 8.3.0
