iPhone 8 ios 13.1.2 keeps asking for permission

Thank you for reporting this issue. Please let us know what version of Garmin Connect you are seeing this with or if you see any changes after updating iOS to a newer version.  We've created ticket CA-68382 to look into this further, we'll follow up once we know more.

While that seems logical, no other app is having this issue.  And, I am quite sure many apps are using my location.  So, for some reason, the answer, always allow, is not persisting.  Only while using?  It's one of the few apps that I always want running.  Hopefully, someone who develops the app will actually take a look at my issue.  If not, I suppose that'll be my excuse to buy an apple watch.  I didn't want to do that, primarily because of the cost (and not needing all the functionality), but I refuse to go back to Android (where Connect seemed to work flawlessly regardless of updates).  Thanks again for your help.

Try the "Change to Only While Using" option and see if this stops the recurring permission request. From what I could find, the permission request you are receiving is governed by iOS, there is nothing the app developer can do in this case as the measure is put in place by iOS.

Kamau.ConnectIQ, thank you for transferring to the correct forum.  I was about to say that the problem had not reappeared, but it happened again today.  I have attached the screenshot.

There are only two choices.  Each time I select "Always Allow."
