Garmin Connect Android impossible to enter special character

I just noticed that I can no longer write special character in my text field on the Garmin Connect Android app, on Garmin Express no problem.

in properties.xml it's in alphaNumeric

  • Garmin Connect Mobile allows special characters, this issue applies to the ConnectIQ app only.  I experienced the same thing for an alphanumeric setting that I use to enter email addresses.  I use alphanumeric instead of email, because settings classified as email can not be blank once they are saved.
