FR645 and others since fw 7.20: major issues with custom fonts

ConnectIQ apps, watchfaces, widgets with custom fonts are failing and showing the IQ! symbol. See these topics for more information:

I'm seeing many reports of unhappy users with failing watchfaces. Please fix this as soon as possible Garmin.

I just have changed it in the fnt file generated by BMFont. They were all existing apps so I did nothing with BMFont .

Thank you. Do you know whether it is possible to simply raise the base value in the font´s fnt file or do we have to create a new font via BMF?

When you use BMFont, two files are generated. a .fnt file and a .prg file.

It depends on the fnt file generated. You want to make sure that base= is larger than the height of any character.
