Forerunner 965's whole screen is shifted at custom Data Fields.

Hello!

Forerunner 965's whole screen is shifted at custom data field. There is a black rim at top and left side.  I tested it with multiple data fields, all had this bug.

In simulator this bug doesn't exist, just on real device.

    Thank you Brandon! I haven't worked with amoled before and now I saw that every amoled are using this protection! :)

     has identified the solution here: it's part of the burn-in protection. I'll poke around and see whether we have this documented somewhere, and if not, make a ticket to have it included. Burn-in protection is documented in the FAQ, but it's outdated and doesn't mention anything about data field pixel shifting.

    This is probably not a bug! The guys below(above) are right! I've just checked my data field again. It is shifted but to a different direction.

    Thank you! This is super helpful! I will rewrite the background code part!

    Our application shows the aerobic and anaerobic energy generation in real time. It is super important to clearly see when the energy generation turns to anaerobic dominant and how much that is so you can see and control which ability you improve (e.g., VO2 max) each second. That's why I forced the white background; black wasn't the best in the previous non-AMOLED devices, and athletes couldn't see the graphs very well.
