Connect IQ SDK .dmg download for Mac is not working. Please update or fix it.

The original report was marked as complete because a solution is available (as noted by FlowState). However, I agree that the download should just work and have complained about it on multiple occasions. I believe it's a server config issue, but it's not something I can address directly myself. I'll file a new ticket with the server team and see if I can get some traction.

It's marked as "complete", but it still seems to be a problem. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In Safari, navigate to https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/sdk/ and click "Accept & Download for Mac".

Instead of downloading the DMG file, the browser will try to render it as text. At this point, the workaround is:

- Press CMD-S and save the file as "Page Source"

- Rename the extension to DMG

- Open the file

The other workaround is to use Chrome.

You can also use Firefox.

Another good work-around in Safari is to right-click the download link and choose 'Download Linked File As...", and then choose a download location.
