App is not searchable with Fenix 9 watches

My app CamCtrl is not searchable when a Fenix 9 watch is the selected device in ConnectIQ. The app is installable on the same Fenix 9 if found via the other apps by this developer route. But searching the app by name, or any decent keywords will not show the app. Selecting a different watch in ConnectIQ such as the Quatix 8 will show the app just fine.

I have had users that purchased the app on their old watch asking how to get it on the Fenix 9. I deleted my ConnectIQ phone app and reinstalled, and the issue is still there.

  • My app is actually in Top paid, so I don't think this "catch22" is the explanation here. It is most definitely the bug - there are ZERO paid apps in search results for me, in all 250 results i can see. Again, this only happens on fenix9 devices.

    All my other devices I have (venu 4, venu x, fenix 8, marq2, fenix 7, forerunner 970, approach s50, s70) - they do display paid apps in search with the same search terms.

    If you call store non-public API endpoint directly - you see exactly the same results - fenix9 is left behind on paid apps in search.
