Activity recording: session.start crashes the app and simulator on SDK 6.4.0+

Steps to reproduce, Try running the "Record Sample" example from the SDK 6.4.0+

I tried upgrading the OS, didnt work

Downgrade the JDK version from 21 to 17, didnt work

Downgrade the JDK to 11, didnt work

Reinstalled the SDK, didnt work

Downgraded the SDK to 6.2.1, worked!!

I should also mention that i am using a Mac with M1 chip
