Well, I have a chart class, I might as well use it to the max, right? So here we have some data fields.

Changelog:

1.3 - Variable durations, flip pace chart to match Garmin Connect, add power
1.2 - Increase durations, increase font size for long thin layouts, try to clip spikes in pace/speed
1.1 - Rework smaller layouts for better legibility, add speed, cadence and elevation
1.0 - Initial version (HR / pace)

On my Epix, in the CIQ_LOG.TXT debug file, I obtained following messages :

Not working since 2.3 update on epix

Hi, love the HR chart data field but since 2.3 update on epix it no longer works. Get iq connect logo error. Help!

the dev who made this data field has not logged into this site since 5.2.15 = almost 2 months ago. I hope nothing happened, maybe he just moved on from this.

I'm very sad that my favorite plugin doesn't work.

Please fix it immediately because the F3 is without the plugin not so good.

I was busy with a new job :-) But I'm back now, and looking into this.

So hopefully this should now be working again; Garmin reduced the amount of memory available to data fields in one of the recent updates and this field was always rather close to the limit. I've reduced the number of samples that make up the chart and at least it works for me now.

Aside: 13kB! It's like an 80s revival :-)

Also I notice it is still crashing at the end of the activity. I'll look into this soon but not today. At least it should be usable now.

Thanks. That's what I thought! Hopefully that will change but they need to warrant the higher prices for their higher range watches hence they have software restricted certain aspects of the vivoactive. Or power meter support and open water swimming and triathlon support is all a Garmin choice to software restrict.

About the Viviactive and the PowerChart-Datafield: i can display the powerfiled in any app, but i get no values - because the Vivoactive does not allow to connect with an ANT+ power sensors (like the Garmin Vector power meter) yet. Any ideas / workarounds / announcements on this issue ?? :confused: :confused:

I think it would be a good luck.cos an entire new app needs to be built to support ANT+. Cos based on what I read - that power profile is not available / installed etc on the VA
