  • I love the watch face, but was wondering if there was a way to turn off the moving always on display time, as it can be a bit distracting. I know it is there to minimize potential burn in and prolong the life of the display, but I would still like to turn it off. I'm using the watch face on a Garmin Epix Pro 2. Again, love the work you've done on the watch face.

  • I absolutely love this, only thing that would make it the absolute best plug-in is the ability to change the colors more customly

Even if it is just adding colors to a theme, like the blue accent but allowing different colors for the main and accent

I personally want a dark purple and dark purple accent but allowing for even more customization would be great

  • I recently installed the Data Lover watch face on my Fenix 6s and I really dig it.

Are there any plans on adding a weekly mileage option in one of the fields? This option would be icing on the cake for me.

  • I just installed this watch face and like all the info it shows, but is there a reason why the daily steps bar chart colours are the opposite of what is used in the Garmin app?

I would expect the days to be green when you reach your goal and blue when you still have steps to do. So if you reached your goal every day you would see 7 green bars.

I thought it might be a bug on my watch but I see the screenshots here use the same colour scheme.

  • TLDR it's on purpose, just call me weird.

It are the colors as I grew accustomed to them (and it's also more logical in my mind as blue is a stronger color than green for me), but you are right they are opposite of the garmin default.

You can easily change the colors in the data lover settings to match your desired color scheme.

  • Thanks, I had no idea there were settings that could be changed :) I haven't played around with the connect IQ app much before and assumed the watch faces were just how they came.

But I see now there are a lot of options and different chart types too

  • Sorry for the delay.

When I change the option "Right Chart" to "weather + city", "weather + time last update", or weather + any other option. My watch just shows temperature in the right chart.  I am not sure what could be causing this issue.

  • which device do you have?

  • Right, another user contacted me about this a while ago, I have a fix for it on my dev branch (together with some changes that are not release-ready), I'll see if I can cherrypick the venu2s fixes to release a version in between.
