I have Venu 2, and am wondering if anyone else can see HR Line chart, if you set it for the bottom chart? It just shows a blank chart for me. If I choose e.g. Pressure line chart, it shows.
hi Joerg, it's an issue on ios.
See https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/broken-settings-in-connect-4-22-for-ios (and while you're there also upvote the bug report)
your settings may be corrupted. to fix switch to other watch face, uninstall and reinstall data lover and then change application settings to your taste
Funny enough I literally just did this. I was having another issue with the weather being stuck in the same city so I deleted the watch face and reinstalled it, that’s when I tried to get the forecast and ran into this issue. Are you suggesting that I reinstall yet again ?
if you are sure that the watch face was truly deleted (=there was another active watch face) then reinstalling again should not be needed.
Weather is dependent on all conditions in faq Q1 and also dependent on whether the garmin weather widget is displaying the weather correctly.
If I am using a https://openweathermap.org API would this feature work? Or do I need to default to the garmin weather data source? How can I check weather the garmin weather widget is displaying correctly?
the forecast is always coming from garmin weather provider, regardless of your weather provider preference.
if the weather widget in your widget loop is displaying data then it should be ok.
Got it. Any other suggestions of things I could try if it’s still not working?
on connect iq 3.2 devices the current solar intensity is already available as a data field.
to add it as a chart I would need to store the value and fetch it at regular intervals, in principle it would not be impossible but it's code intensive.
