I think I finally tracked down the color setting bug :)
A new version 2.3 is available, please try it out if you have had problems setting color on markers.

I now display the version number on gesture, to make it easier to see that you are running the latest version.

Simplicity: Dark and Simplicity: Light - major updates

Simplicity: Dark and Simplicity: Light have had a long overdue makeover.
In addition to the fenix 3, they now support the D2 Bravo and the new Forerunner series.

The following settings are user configurable:
    • Digits on/off
    • 5 minute markers on/off
    • Bluetooth status on/off
    • Battery status on gesture on/off

  • As you are using "user settings", I just have to ask, why you didn't add "light or dark" as an option. It seems that way you wouldn't have two versions of the code, as the differences just seem to be the color scheme, and a user could pick that after they installed it.

I might combine them into one app eventually, but for the moment I simply like being able to have both Dark and Light installed at the same time.

Another reason is to keep the app footprint as small as possible.

And finally, as far as I know, not all the supported watches support CIQ 1.2 and user settings yet.

Yes, i tried a bunch of permutations and the settings work and stick. thanks for tracking this down!

while i appreciate you having the version number for checking purposes, i would strongly prefer to have that as an option that can be turned off. IMHO, it mars what is otherwise a clean and beautiful watch face.
  • Thanks for adapting these faces to the FR series. yah. i really like the option without any numbers at all. it makes for true simplicity :)

nevertheless, i repeat my request above: please allow the user the option to not show the version number. i think that is distracting from the overall clean design of your faces.
