Now available for the Vivoactive HR in the Garmin Connect IQ Store

Remember .. if your HR on your VivoactiveHR drops out, you need to update your firmware to at least 2.65 beta. I recommend 2.74 beta.

Push It / Push It Gym Feature List

- HR required. Will use OHR (optical heart rate) or Ant+ HR Strap.
- GPS not needed in Push It Gym for indoor use.
- Maximum HR value and zone data from User Profile
- Displays HR data, Zone based on Max HR data as below, Push It points and Maximum Heart Rate as used by zones.
- Save data to FIT file on ending if desired.
- Zone Summary with percentage and Push It points on ending.
- Multiplier in Garmin Connect Mobile to alter your Push It points by 50-200% of normal as desired.
- Tap to turn on back light.

It is time to Push It .. time for get some points and let you know how hard you are working.

Note .. Push It will label your workout 'Running' (cause that is what I usually do outside) and Push It Gym will use "Other". You can edit the names in Garmin Connect to suit your needs. I did not want to go crazy and try to name them for you .. let alone try to guess what your workout actually was.

Sorry Garmin will not allow us to use custom names. That would be nice.

    Just some information about Push It ..

    It uses your maximum HR values and zone data from your User Profile.
    You will get points for being in the described range .. (subject to change depending on future user feedback)

    Zone 0 .. 1 point per second
    Zone 1 .. 2 points per second
    Zone 2 .. 4 points per second
    Zone 3 .. 8 points per second
    Zone 4 .. 16 points per second
    Zone 5 .. 32 points per second


    Both Push It and Push It Gym have a 'Multiplier' ... where you can adjust your points from 0.5x to 2x the normal rate. This along with your Maximum HR can be set in Garmin Connect Mobile (I do not use Garmin Express .. so do not know how that works). I do not use your Garmin MaxHR .. cause there could be several depending on the sport. So .. this allows you to use whatever one you choose. You can see your MaxHR on the screen .. so you can adjust it as needed. You can adjust it before you start the application or during use. If an invalid entry is made .. it will disregard it and use the default.

    The total number of points is divided by the time in seconds and with some fancy math will give you a PUSH IT score.
    The numbers being consistent .. the higher the score, the more you pushed it.

    - maximum HR value and zone data is now pulled from User Profile. It will use the heart item in Garmin Connect Mobile.

    - removed zone 6. Any HR values greater than zone 4 will now be strictly zone 5.
