!! PLEASE, NOTE THAT HR HISTORY IS EMPTY AFTER THE WATCH POWERCYCLE !!

You can donate the HeartBeatFace/ActiFace development via PayPal here: http://bit.ly/1RoLv4i

HeartBeatFace performs better on FR735XT and Vivoactive HR which have stronger hardware.

Now you don’t need HR widget anymore :)

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- HR graph for past 160 measurements (~4 hours)
- high and low HR
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

Configuration
------------------------

HeartBeatFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
Here is how to do it: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?332843-How-to-App-Settings

Possible settings:
- Color
- Date format (and second date format in case when the notification icon is shown on Fenix-like models)
- Inverted mode (white background)
- Custom fields types (differs between models)
- UTC
- UTC24 (always 24H format)
- steps
- distance
- calories
- goal percentage
- heart rate
- altitude
- week goal percentage (counted all step goals and steps from the beginning of the week)
- week distance average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- week steps average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- week calories average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- sunrise/sunset times
- Enable/disable seconds
- Enable/disable inactivity indicator
- Battery indicator type (Fenix3 only)

    RE: Sun rise/set not work

    Hi camilo.dotto!

Sun rise/set works based on your location. Try to activate any activity which uses GPS. Once you see message "GPS is ready" the sun rise/set time should be available. I never had issue with Sun rise/set on my Forerunner 735XT.

    Regards,
    HAD

    Hello HAD!
    Great! Now it's working.
When I first installed HeartBeatFace I notice the '--/--' and thought it was not working, so I changed it to show the HR, and never returned back to sun rise/set to see with something changed.
    Thanks a lot!
  • This looks nice. I'd be happy to see it updated so it could be used on Fenix 5. Thanks.

    hour glass issue on v8.20

    Ahoj Petre,

Your HeartBeatFace is really great, but since yesterday, after update of my Forerunner 735XT to version 8.20 (b340df3), the heart rate stopped work in the watch interface. It is always showing the hourglass. Similar issue is in Superb Face - instead of value of HR only "--" is displayed. The system build-in HR monitor is working fine.

Do you know if there was a bug in Garmin update or the face has to be updated as well?

    Thanks,
    Tomas

I've got the same issue. Tried stop/starting my 735XT and changing watch faces
  • Unfortunately there is a bug in FR735 firmware 8.20 that prevents from HR reading and there is no way to read its history. We have to wait for Garmin's fix.

Thanks for the update. I was hoping I didn't have to switch to another watch face. This has everything I need.

Stuck Hourglass / Heart beat History

    Hi!

I had this watch face for 8 months problem free and loved it but recently (due to a garmin update) it just stopped showing my Heartbeat 4-hour history on the main screen and instead has this eye sore hourglass, its been there for days so I reinstalled your watch face and same problem. Please Help dude!

    Thanks,

    Sean

I contacted Garmin about the issue with FW 8.20 and HR, who sent me:

Thank you for letting us know about the firmware update. I will make note of it. Usually it's up to the developer to adjust their apps whenever new firmware is released. In the meantime I would suggest using a Garmin Watchface in order to keep the watch working normally.

I see but there is no way to fix it as the general bug on 735 prevents from reading the HR history.
