!! PLEASE, NOTE THAT HR HISTORY IS EMPTY AFTER THE WATCH POWERCYCLE !!

HeartBeatFace performs better on FR735XT and Vivoactive HR which have stronger hardware.

Now you don’t need HR widget anymore :)

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- HR graph for past 160 measurements (~4 hours)
- high and low HR
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

Configuration
------------------------

HeartBeatFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
Here is how to do it: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?332843-How-to-App-Settings

Possible settings:
- Color
- Date format (and second date format in case when the notification icon is shown on Fenix-like models)
- Inverted mode (white background)
- Custom fields types (differs between models)
- UTC
- UTC24 (always 24H format)
- steps
- distance
- calories
- goal percentage
- heart rate
- altitude
- week goal percentage (counted all step goals and steps from the beginning of the week)
- week distance average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- week steps average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- week calories average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- sunrise/sunset times
- Enable/disable seconds
- Enable/disable inactivity indicator
- Battery indicator type (Fenix3 only)
  • Looks very nice and seems to work fine on the FR235, thanks!

Wondering, would displaying the heartrate increase battery usage somehow? Or does it simply use the data generated by the watch for 24/7 tracking anyway?

    Hi,

Exactly as you wrote. It uses the same data as internal activity tracker, so no additional power consumption.
  • Awesome! Thanks...

On the FR235 the font is quite 'thin and long'. No biggie, but might there be an option possible to change the font type? Make it bold or something if desired?

That's actually the only thing I can think of at this time, thanks for this very nice watch-face!

    HR graph not showing

    Hello,
I'd like to say your watch faces are wonderful, and I use them a lot (specially Actiface!) with my Fenix 3 HR.

I'm having some problems with HeartBeatFace:
When I select HeartBeatFace an hourglass appears instead of the graph. If I turn off and on the watch then the graph works (a single line appears on the right of the screen and from there the graph starts), but after some time, again the hourglass appears. Again if I turn the watch off and on, it starts working. I am using version 1.1.2.

    Any ideas?

By the way, are you saying that the hardware from vivoactive and forefunner is stronger than the one on the fenix?

    Thanks in advance,
  • You mean time font or the graph description font?

Ah, time font I meant... Again, nothing too serious, just a minor thing for me.

    Battery drain

I am noticing a battery drain and it appears to be when using this watch face. Example I changed nothing else but the watch face and the problem stopped. I did to a power cycle to see if that would fix it. I love this watch face for its hr graph.
    Fenix 3 hr
    Software 3.20
    Display 3.50
    CIQ 1.2.6
    WHR 2.60

    Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the report. Actually, I don't see any difference in battery usage between this and other watchfaces on my FR735. I was experiencing sporadic battery drains in the past with Fenix3 (with different watchfaces), but I don't know if it can be that case. Please, let me know if it persists.

I have just made some fixes and workarounds when HR sensor is returning corrupted or empty data.
