!! PLEASE, NOTE THAT HR HISTORY IS EMPTY AFTER THE WATCH POWERCYCLE !!

HeartBeatFace performs better on FR735XT and Vivoactive HR which have stronger hardware.

Now you don’t need HR widget anymore :)

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- HR graph for past 160 measurements (~4 hours)
- high and low HR
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

Configuration
------------------------

HeartBeatFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
Here is how to do it: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?332843-How-to-App-Settings

Possible settings:
- Color
- Date format (and second date format in case when the notification icon is shown on Fenix-like models)
- Inverted mode (white background)
- Custom fields types (differs between models)
- UTC
- UTC24 (always 24H format)
- steps
- distance
- calories
- goal percentage
- heart rate
- altitude
- week goal percentage (counted all step goals and steps from the beginning of the week)
- week distance average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- week steps average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- week calories average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
- sunrise/sunset times
- Enable/disable seconds
- Enable/disable inactivity indicator
- Battery indicator type (Fenix3 only)

issue with sunset/sunrise on vivoactiveHR with heartbeatface

    Hi

I love HeartBeatFace, thank you Petr.Koula for the good work !

I'm trying to use sunset/sunrise time, but this field always remains " --:-- " on my watch (vivoactiveHR)

some other watchfaces, like optimus HR, actually display the appropriate time in its "next sun event" field, so I guess it's a software/config issue

note: the actiface also has this issue

is there something I can do to help / fix it ?

    thanks!

    ok, found it.
I needed to use GPS once on the watch. I used Maps App r.485 to locate myself, then when I came back on the watch face, I could see the next sunrise time .... great !

  • Adding fields & Color

Hi, Are there any more additions to the watchface planned?

I would love if you could add:
    1. Option to color the Hour/Minutes digits
    2. Add more fields (at least 2) in empty places - Sun rise/set time would be great.

    Thank you.

    Altitude

    Hello

I'm new and I just downloaded this watchface. I have a small question : how can I display the altitude in meters and not in ft.

    Thank you for your reply

    Hi Petr-

First off, this is a fantastic watch face, thank you! And secondly, if you don't mind, I have a question on the seconds display.

I understand that the watch will put the watch face into low energy mode after approximately 6-7 seconds. I get why most users would want that, however, I am a volunteer fire fighter/first responder and I rely on the seconds display for various aspects of patient care. Is it possible that the timeout before going into low energy mode can be adjusted? Ideally, I'd have mine set to timeout after 15 or maybe even 20 seconds if possible.

I'm not sure if this is even something that developers are given the option to control, or if it's baked into the watch firmware by Garmin; so I'd like to know- is this something that you can adjust?

Thanks in advance for your reply sir!

Hi, you are right with the second opinion. Garmin has restricted fast refreshing only to 6 seconds, then it turns to low power mode.
