Can I "lock" the data fields?

Hallo Werner,

Thank you for your great app. It very conveniently displays all the information I need on one screen.

I am using the app on a 1030 and have the problem that when I use the energy saving mode and tap on the screen to wake the display up, the app considers this to be tap on the data field which I randomly touch. Is there a way to freeze or lock the data fields in chosen setting so that there will be no change to the data fields when I tap the screen for waking up the screen? Please excuse if my question has already been answered somewhere in the Q&A or the user information but I have not found the solution to my problem.

Hey, you've posted in the Connect IQ Showcase forum without telling us which app you're asking for help with.

If any Garmin forum mods are reading, misplaced support request posts like this are a regular occurrence, even with people who use the forums somewhat regularly. I'm pretty sure it's a usability issue with the forums.
