IN CONCLUSION!

I am an independent software developer. I'm also a dedicated runner, passionate about my health/fitness and been an owner of many Garmin devices over the years (305, 310, 910, vivofit to name a few). If you like BigTime and want to find out more please visit www.boiledsweets.com/garnin.

Now go, go run...

Thanks! :)
  • The 920 doesn't support the exit low power mode for custom watch faces so cannot implement the requests to show seconds but as soon as Garmin update the firmware then I'll add it.
  • Can someone please help me i really want this " Big Time" face. But I keep getting an error that I do not have enough memory, but I still have 11 MB free space. I have a Garmin 920XT version 2.50 and using Garmin Express version 3.2.29.0. I can not find anything on the internet so I am forced to ask my question here, I hope someone will help me.

    Thank you in advance

    To use connect IQ apps you need to install beta version 2.64 on your device. You can get it here.

    The memory issue might be a known bug with garmin express on the Mac. There's a lot of info about that on the 920xt forum.

    Thanks for your quick reaction, tomorrow night I'll take me time for it and I try to get it done.
  • COMING IN NEXT VERSION!

    * Reduced memory footprint

    * Added seconds display
    NB : The 920 firmware doesn't currently support the exit low power mode for custom watch faces so the seconds display only works for the vivoActive. As soon as Garmin add this feature to the 920 firmware then seconds will show.

    * Layout /cosmetic tweaks
    - Activity move bar segments weren't equal
    - Activity move bar design better
    - Text right aligned on screen
    - Text spaced horizontally evenly

    * Date formatting change

    * AM/PM now blue

    * Added icons for bluetooth and alarm (ready for when Garmin add to firmware) so not available yet

    * Tones and vibrate icons working!
    NB : Garmin tell me they have fixed this in the next 920 firmware upgrade.

  • Thinking perhaps the little icons should be dark grey if off and white if one. What do people think?

    How does one upgrade when a new version comes out...just download it again or what?

    Thanks,
    Tim
  • Q: is displaying of the seconds more power consuming ?

    What happens with the VivoActive and in the next version of the 920 firmware is the watch runs in low power mode so seconds aren't shown. When the use lifts their hand to look at the watch it leaves low power mode and seconds are shown for a bit. Then it goes back into low power mode and seconds aren't shown. This is how garmin get the watch power to last weeks not hours like the apple watch! ;-)

    Q: why did you make the date smaller ?

    Might leave it larger don't worry.
  • show only those icons which are active at the same position (or color them like background when inactive)

    Solution. Leave the icons alone for the time being, and allow the user to control which icons are visible in which states when Garmin adds the ability for users to set application properties.
