Before you report bugs please check you are on the latest version of the firmware and GPS. NB: The only way to get latest GPS is to update via usb and a computer.

Hi,

thanks, yes I'm holding out for Garmin to and the option, I was told it would be available in september.

If it's not forthcoming then yeah I could make a new inverse version, given enough persussion ;-)

Music icon on 920xt

What does the music icon on the 920XT mean? Is there a way to eliminate some of the icons?

The 'music' icon means tones are on.

Added user configuration! At the moment you can configure the following :
- Month Day or Day Month
- Numeric or text date format
- Show day (yes or no)
Added alarm icon! Will show if more than 0 alarms are set
Added notification icon! Will show if more than 0 notifications are present
Added activity icon! Will show if activity tracking is currently enabled

Install_app error

I'm trying to install 0.3 and I get an error, install_app (Transfer Error). What would cause this.

I think it would be helpful if Garmin made it easier to see which version you had installed. It is fine if the interface changes a lot to know you have the latest version, but Garmin Express should show the version as well.

What watch do you have and what version of the firmware is it running?

I have a Garmin Forerunner 920XT running 6.1.

I have an envelope symbol on the screen so I assume I have the new version. Also, what is the triangle to the left of the battery percentage meant to represent?

So it did install?

As per the detailed documentation I wrote (that no-one ever seems to bother to read), it represents that activity recording is on.

I did think the icon isn't perhaps the best choice, perhaps a circle would be a better choice...waiting for user feedback... ;-)

It does look like it installed otherwise I wouldn't have the triangle.

He is some user feedback :). I did read it the release notes, but it didn't say what the icon was :). Also, the screenshots don't show the triangle at all :)

Please don't take this as a criticism. Yours was the first watch face I put on my Garmin Forerunner 920XT and I have never changed it. To me, yours is the only design that works well on a square Garmin Forerunner 920XT. Lots of watch faces have taken my fancy, but once you see them on a Garmin Forerunner 920XT they don't look nearly as nice square as they do on a round face. Yours works well.
