Runner Window Datafield thread

Thought I'd start a thread on my favorite complex Datafield for my FR235 in case others haven't seen it yet and also because I have one small suggestion ;-)

First let me say why it's my favorite complex DF :
- Shows all the info I need outside of laps (that's my second DF) : Full timer H:MM:SS, Distance, Instant Pace, HR, Average Pace, Cadence
- A display that "catches" the eye, useful when taking a quick peek for HR, Pace and Time

The only problem is the tiny "Time Of Day" display so I've had to activate the Clock page and toggle to it when needed. Looking at the F3 version it seems it would be less of a problem thanks to the extra space at the top. Don't have any suggestion unfortunately on a better spot for the TOD...

Gave it a try this morning, the pace coloring is less "distracting" but for some reason the pace field seems smaller than before, which it isn't! I think the coloring gave that impression and made it stand out versus the other fields and especially Average Pace...

Could we give it a try with the green font color maybe? Thanks!

The idea of changing header color is awesome, I got a lot of good feedbacks from local forum of my country, so I have already published the ver 1.6.2 to app store. Thank you.

I don't think green font color can provide better readability than black or white color, but I can give you a personalized version latter in return for your feedback. :P

Gave it a try this morning and it worked great, the green really helps to "catch" the eye when you're in the heat of the action. Besides the green color matches the GPS and Battery indicator, well when they're "ok" ;-)

Not sure it it's due to the fact that I dropped the prg of the "green" version directly in the \APPS directory but I just couldn't use it anymore, the FR235 was displaying the timer instead of RunningWindowFR and saying I had already added two ConnectIQ fields. I had to uninstall RunningWindowFR via GCM and reinstall it and then put the green version manually again.

Still trying to get "my" green pace field back but it appears that GCM now updates to the latest version when you set the parameters (I set the background to black) so it replaces the "green version" with the standard version :-(

I just wanted to give thumbs up on this datafield. I find that it gives me all the info I need and it's laid out in such a way that I can quickly spot the important stuff. The green pace would be cool, but it's pretty easy to spot even without it. Thanks!

Runner Window 1.8 released

Hi, I just released Runner Window ver 1.8 and Rider Window 1.8, the major improvement is that it use heart zone settings of user profile to display HR field color now, and a heart zone data splash screen displays in first 5 seconds on start up. And since ver 1.8, Runner Window and Runner Window FR has merged as single data field.

Upgrade now and have fun.

So I lost my "green pace" version again after updating to the latest 6.3.0 on my FR235...any chance that field could stay green on the recent versions ? Thanks !
