I'm still unable to save my CP and W' on Edge 1K, neither with Express (It shows it's ok, reopening the setting shows the right value too but on the Edge 1K there is the default 380/19600 values) and neither with GCM (still has error message in settings). How did You do that?

Kept trying. Like another user mentioned it eventually saved the settings after 10 or15 attempts.

Eventually reconfigured after multiple connect/deconnects/synchs with Garmin Express. I am guessing this is a Garmin Express issue.

sorry but In the 1.1 versión had an important bug of code, upgrade to 1.2

Im using the latest Express 4.1.17.0. I checked the .SET file (in Apps/Settings folder) after value modification and the sync on the Edge 1k, it contains the rewritten CP and W' values (so the Express syncs it), but after dismounting and rebooting the values in the .SET file it goes back to the original values. I tried to copy the .SET file manually to this folder (and to NewFiles folder also) without success. So something happens on the booting sequence with the modified .SET file. (or it is ignored by the unit and deleted)

I hope it helps a bit. If You need i can share my modified .SET file to check it's ok or not internally.

UPDATE: Info from the 1K forum: "I filed a bug on this a while back. I found that if you copy a known good settings file to the device (this is how Garmin Express modifies the device settings) it is overwritten by the device when the data field is started."

Thanks for reporting, you can me share .SET file?

The App if have problems reading the configuration file establishes CP = 300 and W '= 2000 instead default values that are CP = 380 and W' = 19600, values shows you?

I know people who have the 1000 and are not having problems with settings :(

thanks, and when you reestar the garmin what PC and W' values appears in the App? I want to know if there has been an error in configuration reading
