hrTSS DataField

I'm also experiencing the same issues as above. On Edge 520, I'm just seeing the blue IQ logo with yellow exclamation circle. This had worked for some time with no problem! But I'm not exactly sure what might have changed that I'm now receiving this error, if it was a firmware update to 520 or something else. I have inputted a threshold HR through Garmin Express, but still does not seem to work. May I email you the log file? Thanks!!

Great new but how or where I can see the hrTSS metrics values in the activities done after finish and save them with the hrTSS metrics values?

Issues with hrTSS

Hi MattinG,

Your hrTSS data field is potentially quite valuable. However, generally it does not display in Connect or other summaries, which for me is where most of the value is. Note that Training Peaks does calculate hrTSS (TP is linked to my Connect account).

Because I have a hunch this may be due to issues with the Connect platform, I wrote comments related to hrTSS in this post.

Hello!

Firstly: it's a great data field. Worked fine so far and matches the Training Peaks data very well. However, for one of my last activities I got 0 final TSS, which in fact were about 35 TSS according to Training Peaks. After I stopped the activity, it took me some hours to actually save it on the watch and only noticed when It didn't sync with Garmin Connect. If that's of any help.

And thanks for the great Data Field. Worked fine for me so far and matched the results in TrainingPeaks (TP) very well (if one takes care to have the same zones, of course).
However, for one of my last activities, I got 0 final hrTSS for a 35 hrTSS (according to TP) activity. After so stopped the recording it took me several hours before I actually saved it, because I forgot and only noticed as the watch didn't sync with Garmin Connect with some error message. If that's of any help.

Is the hrTSS is saved in watch History or Garmin Connect? If so, where?

I need a better explanation of how it works!!!
first of all, in the app settings on the iPhone, I can't insert any number because the blank space doesn't work, I can only change the LT.
then, I don't understand how I need to calculate the value to insert in the app..for instance, 2.30 hr with a 120bpm of average so zone 1...how to continue?

Although I contacted you recently to say that the 22 July release was giving me some very inflated TSS numbers, I've now seen that the latest 24 July version (v3.0b-upd) gives sensible numbers once again for my running, once I've entered a Lactate Threshold HR via the Manage Apps function on Garmin Express. I'll test it for cycling soon...
