To create your own design or modify one, install & use the M2 Designer app on your watch. These are the steps you would go through:

  • Optionally paste a text code into the "Profile Text" setting of M2 Designer & save the settings, or load one of your previously saved designs (either via the settings or the in-app menu).
  • Run the M2 Designer app (found underneath your activities list) and create your design.
  • Once you've finished, open the Garmin settings for M2 Designer.
  • The text code in "Profile Text" will now represent whatever your design looks like, so copy the text code from "Profile Text" - and be careful to select the whole text.
  • Close the settings for M2 Designer.
  • Open the Garmin settings for M2 (watchface) instead.
  • Delete any text that was already in "Profile Text" - this step helps to avoid potential problems
  • Paste the text code into "Profile Text".
  • Save the settings.
  • Now when you view the M2 watchface it will show your changes.

    Hola, queria agradecerte de tu fantastica app, està muy bien hecha. Una par de consideraciones por si quieres generar alguna mejoras. Me gustaria que la hora UTC se tomara de lo que està seteado en el reloj y no desde la app, porque de esa manera la puedo modificar sin generar modificaciones adentro de la app. Otro aporte que te quiero dar es ver si hay la forma de activar la vision de algunos dato, tipo frecuencia cardiaca o lo que sea, mediante la opresion de un pulsante.

    Trate de generar una interfaz muy limpia y discreta de informaciones, las cuales aparezcan solo si son necesarias. y con una coloracion de forma que aunque la retroiluminacion estè apagada sea facilmente leible.

    El numero por debajo de los minutos representa el horario UTC; Se activa la visualizacion del icono de los mensajes en el caso que haya alguno, y si no queda oculto; lo mismo vale por el icono de las alarmas; El horario del sunset y sunrise aparecen con el movimiento del pulso; los segundos cambian de color de negro a rojo cada 5 segundos; el icono de la bateria està lleno si el reloj està conectado con el telefono, o vacio en el caso estè desconectado; el valor en porcentaje de la bateria esta en negro si la misma tiene carga completa o media; y en rojo si està baja;

    That is a good suggestion for the UTC 2nd time zone - I wasn't sure which would be most useful - being able to set it in the profile or set it in the app settings. I will see if I can add a 2nd time zone override to the app settings. Currently you would have to create 2 (or more) profiles with different time zones set in each one. You could then save them in separate save slots for M2 and switch between them using the Garmin settings in Garmin Connect Mobile. Or you could use M2 and M2 (B) and set them each up with different profiles and switch between them using the system watchface menu.

    For your second suggestion of switching displayed data by pressing a button (e.g. for heart rate) - unfortunately this isn't possible for watchfaces. The only way to do it is by using the glance gesture (which lasts for 10 seconds). Although you could use M2 (B) again for this, which is a clone of M2 - but it would take 4 button presses to switch between them using the system watchface menu.

    Unfortunately body battery is not available to CIQ watchfaces Disappointed I'm guessing it's a licensing issue with Firstbeat who provide the algorithm. But if things ever change I will add it!

    I have tried to improve the contrast by placing 2 displays almost on top of each other. Blue hour and grey minute over a white display.

    Only time and notifications are always on. Other things show on gesture.

    Good battery saver.
