Failed:-1001

It was working perfectly well, but since a couple of days I get "Failed:-1001", I understand it means "SECURE_CONNECTION_REQUIRED = -1001", is there any change Garmin introduced it might affect ?

It works using directly inserting the request on a web browser but not on the IOTClient anymore?

any clues?

This has actually been there for some time. In general, you want to use https instead of http, though you can use http with "localhost" (The phone).

in the sim, under settings, uncheck "Use device…

You might want to add some specifics on which app/data field/watch face you are talking about. You have posted in the generic IQ showcase. Most app developers have a thread specific to their product - look for your product thread and post on that or check the store and see what the developer states about contacting them.

in the sim, under settings, uncheck "Use device HTTPS requirements", and the sim will allow you to use http. If it works on a real device depends on what you are trying to do. You're right razmichael! I'm sorry. My intention was to post in the Widged: IOT Client subforum, but I did it wrong. I will post again in the correct forum.
