WATCH FACE: SHN Tactical

Hye!

Let me introduce you my Garmin Watch face: SHN Tactical

Avaliable here: SHN Tactical.

Tactical Watchface with (from top to bottom) :

- Phone statut : Connected / Alarm / Dot not Disturbed (if avaliable)

- Separator line

- Dual time with hour/min offset from your current time and time zone letter (DST on/off) or Daycounts or Position

- Time in military format with always on sec (if 1hz avaliable) and second on ring

- date with 3 different format : EEE dd MMM [w/y] / EEE MMM dd [w/y] / NATO Format with dst indication

- Astrological information with time left to (sunrise/sunset), timeline , sunrise and sunset time, moon phase or bigger fitness data

- Small field with either Position (MGRS DEG DEM from the last position known)

or Fit data gauges from top to bottom and left to right steps, floors (if avaliable), Calories (goal can be set), weekly active minute, distance, HR

or Small astro information.

- Battery information and notifications count

colors can be set.

This is my first Watch Face so if something wrong, please let me know.

Astrological info are calculated from your GPS position, if it doesn't work start an activity and wait for GPS location.

    Thank you for the information.

    There might be a bug then.

    Because the Weather is displaying correctly for my location (Dublin). It matches everything I see on OWM website. (and it doesn't match Maryland).

    To be sure, I tried putting a custom location.
    Dublin, Ireland
    Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 53.350140, -6.266155

    But this did not change anything. Still see Maryland.

    so it might be a OWM bug so, 'im gonna have a look but youre the first who report this error

    Hello. I'm using a Fenix 5. I can't handle the last line. The estimated battery life. It always shows different values. Currently 42 D with 76% battery. I have not started any activity since the last 100% charge. I am currently using the clock in normal mode. My battery currently lasts about 12 days. What is the problem here? What do I have to configure? I have a PRO license.

    Hi,

    It is a simple calcul, the last time it was charged (even 1% more) it takes the time battery level,

    and every 5 minutes when you quit the sleep mode, if the battery level has changed it compares the value and make a calcul, I know with last Garmin update there is some bug with battery,

    try to do a soft or hard reset.

    Hi,

    thanks a lot. The soft erset didn't work for me. The hard reset was a lot off work but with your update ist works. Now ist shows "3 D" with 56% battery. That is closer than 42 D with 76% battery.

    Hi, there is a bug in the current version 21.1.1

    when i want to use a custom position an copy the latitude and the longitude in the field they ahve the format XX.XXXXXX with a DOT. This is the format i got from google maps. When i save the config the watch face CRASHES HARD on my fenix 5. It is impossible to activate it on the watch again. The config must be changed for it to work again!

    When i open the config and edit the coordinates the field contains: XXXXXXXX,00000000 The dot was deleted and after the big big number you add a comma and the zeros. It is impossible on my android phone to add a comma. Only a dot is allowed. I can not paste a comma, The workaround is to copy the numbers behind "your" comma and delete the zeros. After that the new format is XX,XXXXXX. That works.

    Please check your filter method an field defenition.

    hi,

    very odd,

    the filter is "numeric" to avoid letters etc,

    I could see the same mistake on mine but only with Garmin connect, not with Garmin IQ

    I have to find something...

    i do not know the garmin framework an the language but is there sonething like float or double or use a regex to the input?

    i use float and unfortunately, no Regex on IQ, but I will try some thing let me know

    Hi,

    I noticed that the move bar does not reset anymore on my F3HR. It always displays all five bars.
