  • Training Effect no longer available on the Vivoactive

    Hi Steve

Sorry it's taken a while to get to the bottom of this. It looks like Garmin have removed the ability to use Training Effect on the Vivoactive. It's not it any release notes, but it was also never officially supported by them either. I've just got a 920XT and the exact same code shows the Training Effect on that.

So I'm sorry but it doesn't look like it will come back unless Garmin add it back into the Vivoactive firmware.

    Cheers

    Thanks Brian.

As it always seems with Garmin an update fixes somethings while breaking others. Maybe a bug that will be remedied on another update or an attempt to get people to upgrade to another device to get the functionality.

Still even without the training effect it is a great data field and will remain my default; and at least the suffer score still works, thanks again.
