Hi Garmin fans,
I am having trouble simulating the AccelMag sample from SDK:

Has anyone got it working?
Is it possible to read out directly from the watch via USB?

Best!

see attached screenshot. i cannot write that text...

Hi Daniel, thanks for the tip!!!
Well, indeed exporting in csv is actually not bad...
Have you actually tested it on the Fenix 3 or at least with the ConnectIQ 1.1?
  • Hi,
I use it all the time with the 230, 235 and 630, up to latest available CIQ (is it 1.7? I'm not sure)

Yeah thats the 1.7 same I ve been working with.
Do you use it for accel or to log something else?
In which module are you placing the array?
I have given a shot but it doesnt seem to work. I will keep this posted
  • I know it's an old thread, but I'll try my luck. I am trying to use the AccelMag sample. In the simulator it works both for fenix6 and fr965. The data starts to come when I click play in Data Simulation.

On real fr965 it works as expected: as soon as I start the app I start to see the accel data coming.

However on real fenix6 nothing happens. No data at all. Even when I "kick" it with the start button.

    What can be the problem?

  • Unfortunately it seems the accelerometer died in the fenix6. It also doesn't *** steps any more.
