[SOLVED] How to make Simulator settings persistent on Linux Mint (currently uses /tmp/com.garmin.connectiq/)

I don't know the answer, but both when I used linux and now that I use mac I don't have this problem. Why do you reboot nowadays?

Also "usually" developers kind of have the opposite problem, that they start device A, then device B, and the simulator remembers some things from device A :) 

Use fstab, a cronjob or systemd to copy and paste them on shutdown/boot?

What exactly are you trying to do? Any chance you're trying to run the sdk in a docker container?

My linux install is just standard Linux Mint 22.3 installed directly onto a Lenovo laptop, no docker or other such things involved.

As for what I am trying to do, I just want to avoid having to re-enter all my Settings after a reboot.

Thank you, I'll try adding something to the crontab that symlinks it to a folder in my /home/user/ folder....
