Thanks to the help from the most knowledgeable users here, Facemaker now supports Garmin!

But only devices with AMOLED with API 5.0.0 are supported.
I think this is a revolution for Garmin and it would really help Garmin sales in Europe.

You can now really create a Garmin watchface in minutes, using nothing but your imagination. Just watch my videos.
I'm, also developing the Facemaker watchface store which will feature wearOS, but I'd really love to include Garmin.

I also have my own payment system ready to go, for all the designers out there, using Stripe.

My question is, (considering no one from Garmin admin reads this), can I include Garmin on my market?

Will I be sued?

Respectfuly, I know most of the designers here can barely create a complex watchface or just take too long to create it.
But now, you can create it in a couple of hours!
If you only take a couple of hours to create a watch face, would it be useful for you? Or am I wasting my time with Garmin?

I have been discouraged by a friend, regarding the inclusion of Garmin on my store, but I believe that this could be a very lucrative endeavour, for the both of us, Garmin and me.
A true market, where everyone could participate, not only programmers like me, but also designers... more offer and more sales.
I have thousands of users ready to go, just give me a green light.

Just take a look at the forums. People asking for help with this and that.

I see your hurdles as sign of success for me and my designers.
As I said, don't want it, don't buy it. I'm not forcing anyone into this.

Garmin is wrong about one thing.
People must have easy access to creating watchfaces.

All companies are following that business model and Garmin should too.
People don't want to learn how to program. They want to create a watchface with their kids and family.
That's what I provide. And along that, I provide the possibility of creating a complex watchface for those seeking complex designs.
Is that wrong? Am I the only one here thinking this is possible?

Because it already is for some watch models.

I am a programmer, so when I go to specific forums about Garmin CIQ, or android or anything else I prefer to have conversations about those topics and not about how someone can save 1 numbers in an array (when the question is not about syntax in monkey c, but rather clearly they have no clue about programming)

yes, it's a matter of priorities. then again we come to: quantity over quality. I think that these things should be in balance. just as important as a good promo is to have quality software from third-party developers.

Garmin only cares about the money. Once you bought the watch (even if you specifically bought it because there are million watchfaces in the store) they don't really care about ciq. It's a pain in their ...
