I've just seen this "new device" in the SDK manager,

does anyone has any clue about it?

I believe it still has support for loading your own music on it. It just doesn't support music through CIQ.

where I work for example, wifi is forbidden (BT ok), related to radio frequency

Working around classified information, so whatever jobs require that, would typically not allow wifi enabled devices

Oh! It never even occurred to me that this might be a work-related thing since I'm so immersed in all things tech. I wonder what industries and/or jobs (espionage?) have that requirement?

Could be an office which caters to people who have wi-fi allergies ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Like how colleges have scent-free zones in libraries.
